A Beautiful Fall Day

Tucker Here-

I am coming to you from the beautiful yard under the tree in the front yard, This is my favorite spot in the whole world!

Em took some pictures of Will playing in the leaves. Funny little kid. He likes leaves but he doesn't like grass. If Em puts him in the grass in his feet he tries to pick up his feet. It is kind of funny! Anyway, here are some pictures of Will playing in the leaves, enjoying the fall day with me.

Not sure what this look is all about but sometimes he uses it. Makes everyone laugh. It is his serious little man look.

And now for the video (drum roll please). Will is talking in his own little way. Here is a collection of his words.

Guess that is all for now. Seems like the camera has been coming out more lately so you might see a few more pictures out here from time to time.

That's all for now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WILL!

Maddy here-

Have you heard?!? WILL IS ONE! I know. Unbelievable. He embarqed on his second year of life on October 9th and the humans celebrated on Sunday with a party. I am a little bitter because I wasn't invited but as Will grows I am learning I am not as important as Will. It is very hard to accept and I should probably head to therapy. Goodness knows I need it. But, oh well.

Enjoy the pictures. - Maddy

Pumpkins, Goards and Friends, Oh My.....

Howdy Friends. Tucker here. Em & Will went to a pumpkin farm today. I wish I could have gone but alias, I had to stay home and guard the house. Had to keep an eye on Maddy too. You know how she can be - CRAZY!

Regardless, Em took some fun pictures of Will. They went with some dear friends from Bible Study. The day was beautiful - still is.... In fact, it is probably time for me to sit outside. It is that kind of a beautiful day!

Will has also become more animated. When he does something he is proud of he lifts his hands up in the air as if to say "YEA!!!" He is also very intersted in the camera right now so catching a shot of him doing "YEA" was nothing short of a miracle!

And finally, Will's first Birthday Gift from some dear neighbors of ours. This puzzle is perfect for little hands because each piece has a nob on it. I see lots of entertainment headed Will's way.

Maddy and I are going to share the spotlight next time as we bring you Will's first Birthday. Hard to believe it is almost here! Only 4 more days!!!!!

Bye-bye for now - Tucker

A Late Summer Trip

Howdy Faithful Readers!

Maddy here. Tucker, the rest of the family and myself took a trip this past week. We had a very brief visit in Nashville to see some family and then on to Lacy Springs, AL, to visit Uncle Larry, Aunt Tangie and Cousin Carly. They recently aquired a new puppy named Elle. She is tiny, cute and a little ankle bitter but never fear, Tucker and I wore her out a couple of times! All in all it was a wonderful trip. Thanks to the Larry Owens family for a great long weekend. Here are some pictures including a video of Will & Tucker playing ball. I think Tucker can be friends with Will now!

Will loves his Papa Charlie

Uncle Matt & Aunt Abby are so cool. Uncle Matt likes to stack block with Will.

Aunt Tangie & Uncle Larry were such wonderful Hosts. Hope we can visit them again soon!

This was Will's first attempt at tubing. He wasn't so sure about it even in his Daddy's arms.

Em loves her sweet little boy, and he loves her...

Will loves his Daddy too, especially when he is wearing sunglasses.

Does this really need a caption???

Will and Tucker are now friends. Of course, I have always been Will's friend. I am just that kind of girl. Always accepting of little people.

Summer Fun

Howdy Folks!

We have had a fun summer with Will, Dave and Em. Will has done the most changing of course. He is officially a speed crawler! Seriously, he can crawl faster than any other kid I know and I have known quite a few kids.

Here are a few pictures from the past month.

Will has started eating food that is not pureed. His favorite so far is Cheerios.

Will was all decked out ready to Disc Golfing with his mama and daddy

It is official. Will can stand up on his own. He is even starting to cruise the furniture. Next time we post, he might be walking - YIKES!

He loves to crawl under his exercisor. That has been the best toy thus far.

Our small group with church from 8 years ago gathered together at the Beatty's in Saybrook. They were the leaders of the group. We figured out there has been at least one child born every year since we started the group in 1998. Amazing...

Only one couple was not able to return for the reunion. Otherwise, everyone made it out for the event, even those travelling from Missouri and Minnesota.
The beginning of July we went to visit some family members. On the way home we stopped and said hello to Aunt Michelle. Will loves his Aunt Michelle.

Crawling & Sleeping!

It is official. Will is mobile - more so than before. No one knows this better than Tucker. Will was inching his way to Tucker the other day when Will reached out and grabbed a portion of Tucker's body that should never be touched by any little boy. Tucker yelped a little and then got up and moved away. He is still hesitant around Will. Maybe once Will can roll the tennis ball he and Tucker can be friends again.

Here are some shots and video of Will being mobile.

And also, a picture of Will sleeping. He loves to sleep with his behind up in the air. Em loves it! She thinks it is so cute. She is so smittin' with him. I always knew she liked me but she likes Will much more. For some odd reason, I am okay with that. I just need my lovin' every once-in-awhile.

This weekend we are going to Johnson City, TN, to see lots of Em's family. More pictures to come from the weekend.

Toodles!
Maddy

Will's first Boo-Boo

Will had his first "I am a boy" injury last month. He was in his stroller getting ready to go for a walk with me and Tucker when his stroller rolled off the stoop at the front door. He did a face plant but he was buckled into the stroller so it was only his nose that was scrapped. He needed a little extra lovin' from his mama but he recovered. Below are some pictures of the incident.

It hurt but there are still some smiles from the boy...
